Studio Art

This comprehensive course is designed for the incoming art student and is a prerequisite for all other art courses.

This one-year foundational course provides students with a series of progressive art projects focusing on the elements and principles of design.  Projects encompass a variety of materials and techniques including drawing, painting, printmaking, design, mixed media, and sculpture.

This course fulfills the New York State art requirement for graduation and is a prerequisite for all Art course electives.
